August 29, 2026: People come together in times of tragedy. We’re bringing our coffee friends together to raise funds next weekend for earthquake victims in Colombia, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the farmers, producers, employees, and exporters we work with closely.
Joining us in the Long Island City roastery and classroom are: Café Uba, Los Cafeteros USA, Jacob Alejandro, SlowPourSupply, Pro Coffee Tech Services, Brandywine, Penstock Coffee, and Pair Cupworks. This event is free to attend.
Sergio of Pro Coffee Tech will be in the house, cleaning and servicing home grinders for $20 each.
Café Uba—famous with our customers for Julio Cesar Madrid—is hosting a cupping at 1pm with their new harvest season for $10.
We’re brewing coffees on pour over at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm; these are the coffees available to purchase by the bag. All sales from coffee bags, tickets, and grinder cleaning will be donated.
100% OF EVENT SALES are going to direct aid to victims in Colombia. Recipients and relief distributors are Steven Pelechor of Delta Coffee Group, Ana Cruz of Cofinet, the SANA Program, the Coffee Five Project, and local coffee industry friends. Buy a bag of coffee, or two, or three, to fund relief efforts in Colombia.
Our hearts are heavy for the human impact of this natural disaster. Please stop by and support Colombian coffee!
